Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting.  Key contributions:

​

• Receiving a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay;

• Assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer

• Inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer

• Digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what is usable;

• Creating a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the program/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages

• Reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video

Assist in the technical production of concerts, theatre productions and indoor/outdoor movie screenings. Provide audio and lighting needs for Halle Center client rentals. Part of the CanesVision Game Day Crew. Responsible for producing the live in-arena broadcast of all  Carolina Hurricanes and NC State Basketball games as well as special PNC Arena events as required. Ensures signal transmits, uninterrupted to broadcast live and prerecorded programs.

Responsible for assisting with the assembling, disassembling, and maintenance of stages, audio engineering and lighting systems during film, commercials, television, live concert and theater productions. Key contributions:
